Membership Dues

Dear Members-

As announced in our recent meeting, it is time for our PA's to renew their dues.  Treasurer Judi Hall additionally reminded the group that any NP's who are not current with CANP member dues must renew now in accordance with our membership policy in the by-laws.

We understand that the troubled economy may be contributing to the high number of non-renewal CANP members identified in our region.  As a professional organization we can not waiver in our committment to professional advancement.  It is imperative that we prioritize support for CANP-- the organization largely responsible for our current pracitce rights.  The revenue provided from member dues funds legislative efforts and professional marketing campaigns critical for our profession.

Finally, I want to thank all the members who attended our meeting on Tuesday.  The turn out was one of the best I've seen in more than a year.  I have a renewed sense of community and belonging.  I look forward to 2010 and continuing our work together.
