NPs now eligible to bill as independent providers for Medi-Cal

As of July 1, 2011, all certified NPs will be eligible to enroll and bill as Medi-Cal independent providers if they meet the following criteria:
1. Be licensed as a nurse and certified as an NP by CA BRN
2. Be nationally certified
3. Enrolled as an independent Medi-Cal provider.
