Legislative Alert for SB 819

The bill CANP has been working on all year is on the governors desk ready to sign.  We need to send out letters of support ASAP.  Please review and feel free to use the sample letter I've attached.  Then fax your completed letter to Cheryl at the CANP office (916) 444-7462.  Cheryl will hand deliver our letters to the governor's office.  It would be helpful to have your NP colleagues and supervising physicians also sign letters.

SB 819 will give NPs the ability to order durable medical equipment, determine disability and order home health services for our patients.  These are all things we desparately need for our practices, so get those letters out today!!
