Position Description

I’m looking for a nurse practitioner who would like some part time work, 1-2 days per week. To start with, it’d likely just be clinic based. I really need help seeing postop patients and followups. We have digital X-ray, we have a full casting team, we have full DME in the office. Their clinic would involve postops, ordering X-rays, ordering cast changes, ordering physical therapy, suture removal. Also, there’d be quite a bit of follow-up visits as well, giving injections, that sort of thing.  We have full EMR system in office. It’s a pretty nice setup.  I’m looking for someone who likes a faster pace, hopefully someone who enjoys Ortho. My practice is extremely busy, I typically see 45+ patients per day myself. This person would likely be seeing 20ish patients per day I’m thinking.. I should also add something to that description, as my practice is strictly orthopaedic/surgical. I do absolutely no nail care/palliative care, no wound care, or any other type of routine foot care. I have no interest in any of that stuff whatsoever and therefore I have absolutely none of it in my practice. The NP would not be responsible for any of that stuff either, unless it was something they had an interest in and wanted to do it. Otherwise it’s strictly an orthpaedic-type foot and ankle practice. Hopefully that’s what you’re looking for in terms a job description.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Thanks again!!
